The present invention relates to a system and a method for evaluating the degree of risk of a radwaste treatment plant. The method for evaluating the degree of risk of a radwaste treatment plant includes the steps of: specifying at least one or more events; specifying variables associated with the events; setting criteria to affect each unit module by the events; generating specified events; selecting influential events among the generated events; evaluating the degree of risk for scenarios that the influential events occur complexly or repetitively; and evaluating the scenarios. Therefore, even in a case where there are the overlapped events, the system and the method of the present invention can automatically and easily evaluate the degree of risk that the future generation may face from the radwaste treatment plant while accurately considering the influence.
