A method for providing a user interface through a proximity touch input comprises a process of selecting at least one of functions based on a predetermined criteria when an input means inputs a proximity touch; a process of displaying an icon corresponding to the selected function as a recommendation icon; and a process of executing the function corresponding to the selected recommendation icon among the recommendation icons.
