The present invention relates to an insulation cover for an open filter (1) which is improved in order to minimize a suction load by being mounted on an intake pipe (1) of a vehicle. As characteristics of the composition, the present invention includes: a casing (10) which includes an accommodation space (11) to include the open filter (1) and a connection hole (15) in order to mutually connect an intake pipe (I) with the open filter (1); a sealing cover (20) which is attached and detached in order to seal the accommodation space (11) of the casing (10) from the outside and includes one or more outside air openings (21) and an inside air opening (25) in order to selectively supply inside and outside air to the open filter (1); and a control device (30) which is mounted in order to be attachable and detachable on the sealing cover (20) and includes a control means in order to selectively open and close a flow path of the inside air opening (25) by being linked with the intake quantity of the open filter (10). The present invention according to the forementioned: increases thermal efficiency while preventing an overheating of an engine according to the intake of only outside air of a low temperature through an outside air hole by automatically closing the flow path of an inside air hole in order to block the intake of air which is heated from the engine when a vehicle is in a stop state; improves both horsepower and fuel efficiency of the vehicle as a suction load of the engine becomes minimized by automatically opening the flow path of the inside air opening in order to inhale a large amount of air by corresponding to a suction quantity which is increased in case of a driving; and is specifically able to be applied regardless vehicle type and region since a driver is able to selectively control the opening and closing sections of the inside air opening according to conditions and seasons in which the driver usually drives. |
