The hydrostatic transmission (1) has multiple hydrostatic pumps (P1,P11) on the pump side, where each pump is connected with a rotor shaft (2) of the hydrostatic transmission by interposition of a speed reduction gear (G), particularly a spur gear stage (SG). The hydrostatic transmission has multiple hydrostatic motors (M1,M2) on the motor side. Each motor is connected with a generator drive shaft (21) of a generator (8) of the wind power plant (W) by interposition of a speed reduction gear, particularly a spur gear stage.
