The invention relates to a dashboard structure of the type that includes a dashboard crossmember (4) provided such as to extend transversely between two side posts (5, 6) of an motor vehicle body, and elements for attaching the ends (8, 9) of the crossmember (4) to the side posts (5, 6), each attachment element including at least one attachment opening designed for an elongate attachment member to pass therethrough. According to one aspect of the invention, the crossmember includes at least one tubular section made in a single piece and including a common portion extending between the ends of the crossmember and an end portion of the crossmember defining an element for attaching the crossmember to the side post. |
