A star topology network-based control system and a time synchronization method are provided. A star topology type network control system includes: a master; one or more slave; and a repeater forming a data transmission path by connecting the master, the one or more slave through cables for performing a data relay function for data transmitted from the master to pass each of the slaves and transmitted to the master in the order of the formed data transmission path.
