The invention refers to a process for manufacturing cellular concrete using marble treated with sodium thiosulfate and aluminum oxide, the purpose of the invention is to manufacture cellular concrete from regional materials, which enables the user to create structures of predetermined shapes by chemical methods, which have the characteristic of reducing the heat and noise transmission and protecting the same from external elements, thus creating more comfortable constructions; the chemical treatment provided to marble with sodium thiosulfate, provides the same with a quartz sand behavior in the process, which is used for providing thermal and porous characteristics that result in a light product; the use of normal materials like cement, gypsum, limestone, limestone sand and aluminum oxide provides a concrete acting as a catalyst. |
