<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of frequently causing such accidents as children are sandwiched between foot fingertips in a ventilation gap (undercut part) between a bottom edge of an opening door and a floor surface of each living room or a restroom, etc., provided for ventilating installation for 24 hours as sick house measures, when a door is opened and closed, therefore a finger amputation prevention material for a door bottom gap is demanded, the material that does not prevent ventilation and can be easily installed even by an amateur carpenter at low cost.SOLUTION: A long side plate 41 is provided so as to be positioned at the front side of a gap (undercut part 3) between a bottom edge 13 of a door and a floor surface 2, and is connected by a connecting plate 42 so that the side plate 41 and a mounting plate 43 mounted to a door surface 1 have a constant space. Consequently, this space serves as a vent hole 48 and this side plate 41 serves as a finger amputation prevention member.</p> |
