The actuator has a resonator (10), a rod-shaped actuator (12) and a return spring (14). The resonator comprises an oscillator that comprises an oscillating mass (16) that is arranged between two rocker springs (18). An electromagnetic excitation device is arranged for variable excitation of the oscillator at its resonant frequency.
