<p>The present invention relates to a head mount display (HMD) and a method for controlling the same. More specifically, the HMD and the method for controlling the same enable a user to see information in the HMD when the information for which privacy protection is required is displayed through an external device. The method for controlling an HMD includes the steps of: detecting an external device in an image photographed by an HMD; recognizing at least one component of a first user interface of the external device, wherein the component includes a keypad or a window to output data corresponding to an input signal for the keypad; generating a second user interface including the recognized at least one component; displaying the second user interface, wherein the displayed second user interface overlays the component of the first user interface displayed by the external device by using the image in which the external device is detected; and displaying, in the second user interface, the data corresponding to the input signal currently received by the external device.</p> |
