The present invention relates to an automatic source code generating device for OFP of a head-up display device and a controlling method thereof wherein the automatic generating device comprises a GUI module for generating a script file by inputting control command signals for a developer to generate HUD OFP; an analyzing module for analyzing the scrip file generated through the GUI module; and a source code generating module for converting the script file analyzed by the analyzing module into a configured language source code. The present invention can maximize compatibility of implementation environment by easily implementing the OFP of the head-up display device in various computer environments through an automatically generated source code by automatically generating the source code in the form of a commonly used language through analyzing a script file generated for the OFP of the head-up display device.
