A bridge mount assembly 100 for mounting one or more optical devices 230/240 to a helmet 112. The mounting device herein includes a mounting shoe member that attaches to a receiver bracket on the helmet 114, a bridge attachment 100 that comprises at least one optical device mount (121 figure 3) that allows for the attachment of the optical devices. The bridge attachment includes an adjustment mechanism (162 figure 8) for adjusting the horizontal position of the at least one optical device mount.
