The invention relates to a fluid meter, in particular for water, comprising a totalizer covered by a housing referred to as a cap (2) and provided with a consumption index, and a remote reading module (3) attached to the front surface of said cap, enabling the remote reading of the consumption and containing, in a housing, reading means and transmission means, said housing comprising a front wall (3A) and a sidewall (3C), and said module being covered by a cover (4) arranged on the housing of the remote reading module and including at least one wall (4A) for covering said front wall (3A). According to the invention, said cover (4) is made of an opaque material and also covers all of the sidewall (3C) of the module, and is connected to the cap (2) of the totalizer. |
