The present invention relates to an accident recording apparatus for a vehicle that includes: a case (110) fastened to a mounting stand (10) mounted on a vehicle; a first camera module (120) mounted on one side of the case (110) to photograph the running images in front of or behind the vehicle; a second camera module (130) disposed on the side of the first camera module (120) on the case (110) to photograph the running images in front of or behind the vehicle; a temperature sensor (140) mounted inside the case (110) to sense the temperatures of the first camera module (120) and the second camera module (130); a memory (160) storing first image data acquired from the first camera module (120) and second image data acquired from the second camera module (130) therein; and a controller (170) selectively driving only one of the first camera module (120) and the second camera module (130) according to the received temperature sensing signal from the temperature sensor (140) or storing only the image data acquired from one camera module in the memory (160). |
