The battery module has a cell connector (300) for connecting battery cells. Each battery cell is provided with an electrode assembly (110) having electrodes, and charge collectors (120,130) connected to respective electrodes. The cell connector is directly connected to charge collectors of adjacent battery cells via a common contact surface. An independent claim is included for motor car.
