The present invention relates to an apparatus for inspecting a lance for a connector. According to the present invention, a terminal pin (14), to which a lance (5) provided in a terminal receiving part (3) of a housing (1) is latched, is connected to a front end of the handle body (10). A receiving space (12) is formed in the handle body (10) and a slide pin (20) installed in the receiving space (12) is input or output through an input and output hole (13) opened toward a front end of the handle body (10). A release part (22) having a guide inclined surface (24) is provided on a front end of the slide pin (20) and an operation part (26) placed in the receiving space (12) is provided on a rear end of the slide pin (20). The slide pin (20) is supported by an elastic member (30) in the receiving space (12), such that the slide pin (20) automatically moves into the receiving space (12) when the force applied to the operation part (26) is removed. Thus, according to the present invention, since the slide pin (20) linearly moves when the lance (5) is separated from the terminal pin (14) after the lance (5) is inspected, the damages of the lance (5) and the housing (1) may be minimized. In addition, since the operation of the slide pin (20) is small, the inspection for the lance (5) of the small size housing (1) may be easily performed. |
