<p>The apartment uses mechanical or motorised systems to enable a room to be reconfigured to have multiple different configurations such as altering a sitting room to a dining room to a bedroom to a kitchen. The apartment includes voids in the walls, ceiling or floor to incorporate the mechanical or motorised systems. The apartment may have a sleeping platform which lowers over a sitting area and when the sleeping platform is raised acts as a ceiling for the sitting area. The seating may be sunk into the floor. The room may have a sliding partition mounted into voids in the ceiling and or floor to define two zones, for example a living area and a walk in wardrobe. There may be a shower with a movable shower tray that when moved reveals a plunge bath.</p> |
