<p>[PROBLEMS] To provide a catheter enabling the accurate and easy recognition or measurement of the lengths of a balloon other than its effective length (for example, the measurement of the length of an affected portion). [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] This balloon catheter (C1) comprises a slender double-tube catheter body (2). The catheter body (2) comprises an outer tube (3) as an outer tubular member and an inner tube (4) as an inner tubular member disposed in the outer tube. The tip of the inner tube (4) is slightly projected from the tip of the outer tube (3), and one end of the balloon (6) is fixed to the tip edge of the inner tube (4) and the other end of the balloon (6) is fixed to the tip edge of the outer tube (2). Three or more (seven here) markers (10) are installed in the inner tube (4).</p> |
