[Also in Group XXXVI] A process for enclosing a stack of rectifying units 1 clipped together and provided with terminal contract members 2 in a resinous material comprises inserting the stack into a polyester resin sleeve 5 which is heated in a preferably preheated mould 6 and 7 so that the resin flows round and encloses the stack and is subsequently cured. The mould is provided with recesses in the wall so that the terminals project outside, and it may be provided with projections 8 and 9 to maintain the position of the stack in the molten resin. Resin displaced by such projections may be replaced later.
