Disclosed is a device for displaying a medical image. The device for displaying a medical image comprises a data acquisition unit for acquiring the volume data of an object; an image generation unit for generating a medical image, including at least one three dimensional stereo image and at least one two dimensional stereo image that are generated based on either a direction, an inclination or depth of the object displayed in the three dimensional stereo image from the acquired volume data; and a display unit for displaying the generated medical image.
