PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obstacle detection sensor for a vehicle which can be easily fixed to a bumper without impairing vehicle design, and the bumper to mount the same. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an obstacle detection sensor 1 for a vehicle which is fixed to a bumper 5 of the vehicle, including: an ultrasonic microphone 21 including a transmitting/receiving surface 21a for transmitting an ultrasonic signal and receiving a reflection wave thereof on its front face; a housing part 2 accommodating the ultrasonic microphone 21 therein; a plate-like support 3 which is mounted to the housing part 2 and of which the front face is abutted to a rear face 5b of the bumper 5; a mounting plate 4 having an adhesive surface 43a abutted to the rear face 5b of the bumper 5 and a non-adhesive surface 42a abutted to a rear face of the support 3; and a double-sided tape 43 for fixing the adhesive surface 43a and the rear face 5b of the bumper 5. The transmitting/receiving surface 21a of the ultrasonic microphone 21 is exposed forward from an opening 51 provided in the bumper 5, and the transmitting/receiving surface 21a and the front face 5a of the bumper 5 become approximately the same plane.
