A battery cell according to the present invention includes an electrode assembly comprising an electrode tap; an electrode tap which is connected to the electrode tap; and a cell case which comprises a sealing part which is extended from the circumference of the receiving part and has a folding groove of a constant depth in a direction parallel to the extension direction of the electrode lead in each corner region. According to the present invention, the productivity of the battery cell can be improved by easily performing a wing folding process for minimizing the occupied space of the battery cell. Also, the quality can be improved by removing a size difference between manufactured battery cells.
