<p>The stator has an external shell that includes an annular array of openings and an internal annular groove designed to hold an annular layer (36) of abradable material. A row of stator blades (26) with platforms are located in the openings and secured by one or more weld beads between the platforms and the openings. The row of openings and the internal groove is partially overlapped so that a portion of the weld bead is positioned axially in the internal groove. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a method of manufacturing a stator; and (2) a turbo-machine.</p> |
