<p>A valve assembly, such as for use subsea, comprises first and second conduits and a rotatable valve member having a through-hole formed therein and mounted between respective ends of the first and second conduits for rotation relative thereto, wherein the valve member is rotatable about a valve member rotational axis. The valve assembly further includes an actuator arrangement and a linkage arrangement connecting the valve member and the actuator arrangement. The linkage arrangement is rotatably connected to the actuator arrangement about a pivot axis which is offset from the valve member and the actuator arrangement may be operable so as to rotate the valve member between an open position in which the through-hole is aligned with the ends of the first and second conduits and a closed position in which the through- hole is misaligned with the ends of the first and second conduits.</p> |
