The shift element (27) has strip conductors (30-33,33a-33d) embedded with plastic base (47), with contacts (37,37a) for a stator winding, which rise up over a side of the base. The contacts rise up over the other side of the base to connect with associated strip conductors electrical conductors. The base has an outer rim and/or an edge (49) of a passage opening (48) designed as sealing edge.
