A recessed ceiling lamp comprises a mounting frame holding a reflector 6 and a lamp unit (9, Fig. 1). The mounting frame has a lower frame part 3 surrounding the reflector and an upper frame part 4 carrying the lamp unit. The two frame parts 3, 4 can be rotationally adjusted with respect to each other by means of a turning ring 5 about the longitudinal axis of the lamp 1. Parts 11, 12 of the turning ring 5 are meshed with one another by engagement means 18, 19 which block movement of the two turning ring parts 11, 12. The frame parts 3, 4 can be relatively rotated by lifting the upper turning ring part 12 with respect to the lower turning ring part 11 by pushing guide pin 14.2 upwards. |
