The invention relates to a device for comprehensive LED source (1) protection from outdoor weather conditions. It comprises of at least one optical assembly consisting of atleast one LED source (1) placed on an electrically powered and heat-conducting printed circuit board (4), further consisting of a heat sink (2) and an optical element fixed to the heat sink (2), directly or through a LED holder, where such optical assembly is encapsulated by filling compound material (5) into a compact waterproof module and the position of the optical element (3) also ensures that the LED source (1) is protected from direct contact with the filling compound material(5) and that the desired source beam angle is achieved. The device of the invention is intended for use in all types of LED lights for outdoor use intended primarily for street and park lighting, architectural floodlights for lighting buildings, fountains, outdoor areas, parking lots, and in any other outdoor environment with high demands on LED source (1) protection from the outdoor operating conditions. |
