Disclosed are a method for managing battery power according to an alarm time and a recording medium where the method is recorded. The method for managing battery power in a portable electronic device according to an aspect of the present invention includes a step of checking the power status of a battery at a point of time of power management according to a set alarm time; a step for determining the feasibility of an alarm function with respect to whether the power will continue until the alarm time; and a step for performing a battery charging notification function in a case where the feasibility of the alarm function is absent. According to the present invention, a user can be notified that the battery has to be charged as necessary so that the alarm can be performed as desired at the set alarm time. |
