The present invention provides a peripheral driving device using a cart in a circular depositing reservoir for wastewater treatment. The peripheral driving device comprises: a side wall; a bottom tilted to gradually become lower toward the center; a tube-shaped inlet formed vertically on the center of the bottom so that water to be treated is fed therethrough; an outlet formed on the edge of the inlet to be dented downwards more than the top end of the inlet; a scraper that contacts the bottom so as to freely rotate about a rotating shaft that is formed on the bottom center of the circular depositing reservoir formed in a concrete structure; and a bullwheel that has one end fixed to the top end of the scraper and the other end formed freely so as to roll along the top end of the side wall of the depositing reservoir by means of a drive motor. The peripheral driving device is operated by means of a truss arm that rotates along a cart so that sludge precipitated on the bottom of the depositing reservoir is raked in the outlet in order to be discharged. Bullwheels and coupled driving wheels are prepared, wherein the bullwheels are directly connected with the operating motor in the front and rear of the cart, and the coupled driving wheels are co-axially connected with idle sprockets that are connected with the bullwheels by means of a power transferring part in order to idle. A drive controlling unit is prepared which selectively transfers a driving force of the bullwheel side to the coupled driving wheels so that the cart can be stably and firmly operated when a disruption occurs in the moving path of the cart on the side wall of the depositing reservoir between the coupled driving wheels and idle sprockets. |
