The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising a Spergularia marina extract, and more specifically, to a cosmetic composition which comprises an ethanol extract of Spergularia marina, which is one of halophyte, and which has an antioxidative component and an antimicrobial function. The present invention provides a cosmetic composition characterized by comprising a Spergularia marina extract. In addition, the present invention provides a method for preparing a cosmetic composition, comprising the steps of: collecting, washing, and drying Spergularia marina; adding 80-95 % ethanol having 15-25 times the volume of the dried Spergularia marina, followed by stirring in a stirrer and then filtering, thereby preparing an ethanol extract of Spergularia marina; concentrating the ethanol extract of Spergularia marina using a concentrator; and preparing a cosmetic composition for any one of skin, lotion, shampoo, body cleanser, soap, and rimbam, using the concentrated ethanol extract of Spergularia marina. |
