An indoor mover position tracking system and an indoor mover position tracking method according to the present invention include: a marker which is attached to a safety helmet of a mover located indoor, and has code information of the mover on one side; a monitoring camera which is installed at each floor of the indoor and acquires image information within field of view (FOV); and a control part which monitors image information and position information and personal identification information of a mover corresponding to the code information in real-time, in case that the mover and the code information are recognized in the image information delivered from the monitoring camera. Also, the indoor mover position tracking method includes: a first step of acquiring the image information using the monitoring camera installed in each floor; a second step of extracting the characteristics and contour of the image information by filtering the image information delivered to the control part from the monitoring camera; a third step of converting the characteristics and contour of the extracted image information into the image coordinate system; a fourth step of recognizing the mover by using the converted image coordinate system, and distinguishing the code information indicated in the marker, when the marker attached to the safety helmet of the recognized mover is recognized; a fifth step of acquiring movement information of the mover by using the personal identification information of the mover corresponding to the code information and a changing value of the converted image coordinate system; and a sixth step of performing real-time monitoring by receiving the acquired personal identification information and the position information and the image information.
