The present invention relates to a battery connector and, more specifically, to a battery connector capable of excluding a manual work, swiftly and simply mounting and dismounting a battery of an electric vehicle onto a mounting part, and accurately and safely conducting the connection and separation processes of the battery. According to the present invention, the battery connector is capable of helping a user to easily and safely conduct a connection process since a socket and a power pin does not have to be accurately united when connecting first and second power connectors, but a socket gapping groove (s) and a pin gapping groove (p) slide to be inserted. In a process where the first power connector is separated from the second power connector, each socket are allowed to rock on the socket gapping groove (s) and each pin can rock on the pin gapping groove (p), thus being easily and safely separated. By the same, the sockets prepared in the battery connector can be protected from being damaged, and failures of the battery, a charging device, a battery mounting part of the electric vehicle, possible to occur by the impacts or pulling from the surrounding parts can be prevented, while enhancing the durability. |
