The present invention relates to a vehicular axle differential cooling device that is configured to have an air guide plate which guides the flow of air in a lower portion of a vehicle. In addition, the present invention relates to a vehicular axle differential cooling method. Herein, the air guide plate is provided to guide the flow of air in the lower portion of the vehicle. According to the present invention, the air guide plate (5) is fastened to an axle differential (1) with a proper motion of the axle differential (1) causing an adjustment in the air guide plate (5) so that the optimal cooling of the axle differential (1) is ensured and the flow resistance coefficient of the vehicle is not increased. Herein, the air guide plate (5) follows the proper motion of the axle differential (1), and the flow of air (S1) is guided to the axle differential (1) during the braking of the vehicle. When the vehicle is driven at a constant speed, the flow of air (S) is not guided to the axle differential (1). The flow of air (S) is guided to be away from the axle differential (1) when the vehicle is accelerated. Accordingly, negative pressure is generated in the axle differential (1), and the ventilation of the axle differential (1) is realized in the form of the flow of air (S2). |
