Disclosed is a device to detect mura of a display device, which is capable of detecting mura considering a morphological characteristic of the mura. The device to detect mura of a display device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an image acquisition unit to photograph an image displayed through a panel to acquire a panel image; a panel image preprocessing unit to preprocess the panel image acquired by the image acquisition unit; a mura candidate area detection unit to detect a mura candidate area from the panel image preprocessed by the panel image preprocessing unit; and a mura detection unit to calculate a circular drawing and a ratio of diagonal entries of the mura candidate area detected by the mura candidate area detection unit to detect, as a mura, the mura candidate area having the calculated circular drawing and ratio of the diagonal entries which are greater than the predetermined thresholds. |
