FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: method involves reacting unsubstituted o(m)-carboranes with alkylamines in a medium of lower aliphatic alcohols. Unsubstituted alkylammonium 7,8(7,9)-dodecahydrodicarba-nido-undecarborates are obtained via ultrasonic activation at temperature of 60-80°C in a medium of lower aliphatic alcohols or corresponding water-alcohol mixtures. Non-dehydrated alcohols, such as methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, n-propyl alcohol or isopropyl alcohol, are used.EFFECT: invention simplifies production of unsubstituted alkylammonium dodecahydrodicarba-nido-undecarborates.6 ex |
