The present invention relates to an elevator monitoring system and a transmission light focus control method capable of stably transmitting a monitoring video through invisible light in the monitoring system, which transmit the monitoring video including situations in an elevator, and capable of controlling the transmission light focus through visible light. The elevator monitoring system according to the present invention comprises: a first light emitting unit for emitting a light signal with visible band light; a second light emitting unit for emitting a light signal with infrared light; and a light reception unit for receiving the infrared light or the visible band light in the elevator monitoring system for transmitting the monitoring video including the situations in the elevator with the light signal. |
