A system for inserting subtitles according to the present invention includes: a user interface which is provided for a user terminal to be displayed, and executes a function for inputting subtitles to a video screen; a subtitle data DB which stores a plurality of subtitle styles in which subtitle elements are differently constituted; a subtitle insertion unit which applies a selected subtitle style to the content of subtitles and edits the content of the subtitles, and displays the edited content of the subtitles on the video screen, when one of the subtitle styles is selected through the user interface and the content of the subtitles is inputted from the user terminal; and a control unit which controls to display the user interface on the user terminal according to a request of the user terminal, and to allow the subtitle insertion unit to be operated in connection with the user interface. Accordingly, the system enables a user to insert subtitles in a video simply and easily even though the user is not an expert by inserting the subtitles in the video using previously created subtitle styles. Further, the system can facilitate the selection of a user and improve the satisfaction of the user by enabling the user to predict whether subtitles inputted by the user is to be expressed in any form. |
