The present invention relates to a damper with a friction adjustment function. In the damper where a rod (20) reciprocates inside a cylinder (10), an extension portion (11) is formed by expanding the diameter of an end of the cylinder (10). A pad housing (30) where a pad (40) that is a friction material is inserted is arranged between an outer peripheral surface of the extension portion (11) and an outer peripheral surface of the rod (20). The pad housing (30) includes holes (31) for supplementing grease. Moreover, a fixing pivot fixing cap (50) is arranged on the extension portion (11) at the end of the cylinder (10). A fixing pivot (60) is arranged in the fixing pivot fixing cap (50) to be perpendicular to the surface of the cylinder (10) such that an end of the fixing pivot (60) pressurizes the extension portion (11) vertically downwards as the fixing pivot (60) is rotated. The extension portion (11) pressurizes the pad housing (30) to pressurize the pad (40) inside the pad housing (30) to increase the frictional force between the rod and the pad, thereby increasing damping force. According to the present invention, the pad housing and the fixing pivot are arranged at the end of the cylinder to adjust the frictional force between the cylinder and the rod, thereby easily controlling the damping force of the damper. |
