The present invention relates to a water purifier having a pot heating member capable of generating hot water by directly heating purified water contained in a pot to save the energy according to the use of the hot water. The water purifier (100) includes a body (110); an outlet port (120) provided at one side of the body; a pot base (130) provided on the body to be positioned below the outlet port; a pot heating member (140) installed on the pot base to provide a heat source raising the internal temperature of a pot (200) which is placed on the pot base; a first valve (160) opening or closing a purified water supply pipe (150) connected to the outlet port; a sealing member (170) having a purified water discharge passage (170a) communicating with the purified water supply pipe (150) to supply the purified water to the pot, and protruding downwardly from a lower end of the outlet port (120) so that the sealing member comes into close contact with a steam discharge port (210) formed at an upper end of the pot when the pot is placed on the pot base to block the outward discharge of the steam; and a steam storage space (190) forming a part of the purified water discharge passage and storing the steam fed from the steam discharge port of the pot. |
