The present invention relates to a method and a system for controlling plate slanting in a hot finish-rolling final stand. The system for controlling plate slanting comprises a plate slanting measuring part equipped in an inlet of a hot finish-rolling final stand to measure plate slanting information of a steel plate entering the hot finish-rolling final stand; a thickness gauge equipped in an outlet of the hot finish-rolling final stand to measure information of a crown of the steel plate passing through the hot finish-rolling final stand; a plate slanting calculating part for calculating final asymmetry information of the steel plate from the plate slanting information and crown information of the steel plate; a plate slanting controlling part for calculating a roll level value to control plate slanting in response to the final asymmetry information; and a rolling mill roll level driving part for controlling a roll level of the hot finish-rolling final stand according to the roll level value.
