INFRARED RAY BLOCKING PIGMENT USING INORANIC PIGMENT AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING OF THE SAME

Disclosed are an infrared ray blocking pigment and a method for manufacturing the same, wherein the pigment is a red pigment or a white pigment in which an inorganic pigment layer is coated on the surface of a flaky pigment coated with a metal oxide layer and blocks infrared rays. The infrared ray blocking pigment according to the present invention includes a flaky pigment which is coated with an inorganic pigment layer and an inorganic pigment layer which is coated on the surface of the flaky pigment with a coating ratio of 3-10 wt% relative to 100 wt% of the flaky pigment. The inorganic pigment layer comprises TiO2 or Fe2O3.
