The present invention provides a computer implementing method capable of designing the staggered pattern of objects in a computer-aided design system. The method includes the steps of: providing a rotation axis which is the origin of two or more concentric circles; providing a reference object to be multi-instantiated; defining the number of objects to be multi-instantiated from the reference object on each concentric circle; defining an angular shift; and instantiating the number of objects from the reference object on each concentric circle, wherein the instantiated objects are spaced according to an angular deviation between two consecutive instantiated objects on the given concentric circle; and shifting the instantiated objects according to the angular shift in one of every two concentric circles. |
