<p>#CMT# #/CMT# A tape comprises core layer containing an aluminum-magnesium silicide alloy and outer aluminum alloy layer containing non-curable aluminum alloy on side(s) of the core layer. At least one outer aluminum alloy layer has less tensile strength than the core layer in T4 condition. The tape in T4 condition has percentage non-proportional elongation at maximum force of more than 23% perpendicular to rolling direction, thickness of 1.5-1.6 mm and bending angle of less than 40[deg] perpendicular to rolling direction based on bending test. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is included for preparation of tape. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Tape is used for metal sheet for structure portion, landing gear portion, outer-and-inner metal component and chassis for motor vehicle, aircraft and rail vehicle (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The metal sheet obtained using the tape has excellent corrosion resistance, high mechanical property and favorable moldability. #CMT#METALLURGY : #/CMT# Preferred Properties: The tape in T4 condition has elongation limit of 70-140 MPa and tensile strength of 170-220 MPa. The tape has ultimate elongation perpendicular to rolling direction of 27% or more, preferably 29% or more. Preferred Composition: The outer aluminum alloy layer contains aluminum alloy having mean grain size of less than 50 mu m, preferably less than 25 mu m. The aluminum alloy of outer aluminum alloy layer is AA8079-type aluminum alloy, AA1200-type aluminum alloy, AA5005-type aluminum alloy or AA5005A-type aluminum alloy. The core layer contains aluminum alloy chosen from AA6014-type aluminum alloy, AA6016-type aluminum alloy, AA6060-type aluminum alloy, AA6111-type aluminum alloy or AA6181-type aluminum alloy.</p> |
