A method for recording an operating time using a flash memory is disclosed. The present invention relates to a method for recording an operating time using a flash memory of an operating time recording system which includes a flash memory having a plurality of blocks storing and erasing data, a timer, and a control unit. The method comprises the steps of: allowing the control unit to set, to an operating time recording area, a predetermined number of blocks among the blocks of the flash memory; allowing the control unit to sequentially record, in the blocks of the operating time recording area, data corresponding to an operating time in a predetermined order, when a timing signal is periodically received from the timer; allowing the control unit to increase or decrease the data in a predetermined unit and record the data in the operating time recording area again in rotation, when the data is recorded in the entire operating time recording area; and allowing the control unit to read the data recorded in the operating time recording area and calculate and output an operating time of the operating time recording system in a predetermined manner, when an operating time check command is received from the outside. |
