WIRE STRAIGHTENING APPARATUS

This wire straightening apparatus maintains a kink straightening effect, while inhibiting kinks from forming when wire feeding is in a stopped state. The wire straightening apparatus is provided with a straightening function section. The straightening function section comprises : a first support section ; a second support section provided facing the first support section ; a plurality of first straightening rollers spaced apart from each other in a direction along the wire feeding path and rotatably journaled to the first support section, each first straightening roller having at an outer circumference section a groove section deepening gradually towards a bottom section ; and a plurality of second straightening rollers spaced apart from each other in the direction along the feeding path at positions to the side of each of the first straightening rollers and rotatably journaled to the second support section, each second straightening roller having at an outer circumference section a groove section deepening gradually towards a bottom section. The straightening rollers are disposed such that the bottom sections of the groove sections are offset from the feeding path in the axial direction.
