<p>The present invention relates to a starting switch closing recognition device of a voltage regulator for a vehicle generator and a method thereof capable of recognizing an operation state of a lamp and ON or OFF state of a starting switch at the same time. The starting switch closing recognition device comprises; a starting switch; a lamp unit which is connected with the starting switch in series; and a switching unit which is connected with the starting switch and the lamp unit in parallel. In the starting switch is ON state, if an output value in a predetermined contact point (P1) connected with an input terminal (collector terminal) of the switching unit regarding a HIGH signal is HIGH between signal values (HIGH, LOW) which are alternately inputted from a control unit of a bias unit of the switching unit, the control unit recognizes a current state as a lamp short circuit state. If an output value in the predetermined contact point (P1) connected with the input terminal of the switching unit regarding a LOW signal is LOW, the control unit recognizes a current state as the OFF state of the starting switch.</p> |
