The present invention relates to a system and a method for setting a hands-free function and for selectively setting a connection condition between a mobile terminal and a hands-free device. A method for setting a hands-free connection condition between a mobile terminal and a hands-free device in a system for setting a hands-free function according to the present invention comprises an obtaining step of obtaining a tag ID of a mobile terminal through a terminal holding device communicating with the mobile terminal in a near field communications; an determination step of determining if the obtained tag ID is registered in a list of terminals available in hands-free function by using the terminal holding device; and an instruction step of, in the terminal holding device, instructing a hands-free device a hands-free wireless connection with the mobile terminal, when the determination result shows that the tag ID of the mobile terminal is registered in the list of the terminals available in hands-free function.
