Disclosed are a POS terminal for registering and displaying a bar code for scanning a product and a bar code registering/displaying method using the same. A POS terminal of the present invention comprises: a network module for receiving a bar code for a product from a product information server or another POS terminal; a bar code storage module for storing the received bar code; a display module for displaying the stored bar code; a bar code searching/displaying module for searching the bar code stored in the bar code storage module and displaying the searched bar code on the display module; a scanner module for selecting a bar code of a payment product in the displayed bar code and performing optical scanning of the selected bar code; and a product payment module for performing product payment using a name and a selling price of the payment product read out through the optically scanned bar code and the quantity inputted by a user. |
