A side guide device for rolling is disclosed. The disclosed side guide device for rolling comprises a guide unit, a pressure support unit, base units, a linear gear unit, and a driving unit. The guide unit is installed at both sides of a transfer roller, which transfers the slabs. The guide unit guides the transfer of the slabs by pressurizing the side parts of the slabs. The pressure support unit elastically supports the guide unit. The base units are installed at both sides of the pressure support unit and separately placed from the guide unit. The linear gear units are extended from the base units and placed at the side of a spur gear. The driving unit supplies power to a driving gear which interlocks with the linear gear unit. |
