FIELD: agriculture.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of animal husbandry, in particular to a method of gathering the herd of cows. The method of gathering the herd of cows of the same breed under conditions of one climatic zone is characterised by the fact that the animals are first sampled with the duration of service period of 60-100 days and the model of the first approximation is formed from them. Then the animals of model of the first approximation are sampled by age of first insemination which constitutes 14.5-22 months, and the model of second approximation is formed from them. After that from the animals of model of the second approximation the animals are sampled according to the duration of the first pregnancy, which is 270-285 days, and the model of the third approximation is formed from them. From the animals of the model of the third approximation the animals are sampled according to the age at first calving, which is 23.5-31.5 months, and a herd of cows is formed from them.EFFECT: use of the invention enables to form a model group of cows with reproductive parameters meeting requirements of the industrial technology of milk production, while reducing the gathering time and increase accuracy of the parameters of productivity for the model animals.6 tbl, 1 ex |
